Chris Bennett is a professional storyteller, Performance Poet and Actor. Chris is also a cartoonist and illustrator providing artwork for books, magazines, newspapers and other publications. Chris has extensive experience of delivering performances, workshops and training in all of these areas. Chris is one half of Orange Apples.

 

Sara Scott is a professional Storyteller, Drama Worker and Actor. Sara works in community arts and through craft with many different groups of all ages and abilities. Sara has extensive experience of delivering performances, workshops and training in all of these areas. Sara is also one half of Orange Apples.

 

 

Jackie Drew is an actor and musician who is returning to the stage after a few years raising her 2 lovely children in Winchester. She has toured internationally with TNT Theatre in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth and A Christmas Carol and nationally with LCT Theatre in Pinter’s Old Times and Marivaux’s A Game of Love and Chance.  Her actor/musician shows include The Wizard of Oz at The Watermill Theatre, The Twits at The Belgrade Theatre and Voices with Quondam Theatre in Penrith. Jackie is one half of Rhymenreason.

 

Christian Flint has worked as an actor with many diverse theatre companies such as The Kosh, Lindsay Kemp Co, Paines Plough, OTTC,Charnock Co, The Gate Theatre and most recently the Royal Shakespeare Company. He returned to TNT (his sixth production) for MOON PALACE, having recently toured to South America and Britain with the company’s MACBETH. Christian lives in Winchester and is the other half of Rhymenreason.

 

Michael O’Leary  says ”stories, listening to them and telling them, have been part of my life for as long I can remember.” When in mid-life he became a teacher, the value of sharing these stories became obvious. He became a professional storyteller almost to his surprise, as if that’s what he’d been training for all along. He also found that stories were needed not just by children, but by adults too.

 

 

David Pearce is a Winchester resident and Hampshire based storyteller known for his skills with a djembe and for his lyrical and imaginative tales. David has been telling stories for many years.

 

 

 

 Adam Robertson  is a member of Milk Presents Theatre company and a seasoned storyteller, as well as being a Winchester local too.

 

 

 

Isobel Simons is the creator of The Story Lounge. She has a long history of teaching and theatre education and has always been mad about storytelling and all things old fashioned. She relies heavily on her three children to help her set up every event and fill the front sheepskins in the audience.
